Handwoven Holiday Napkins in progress

I wanted to put another project on my loom quickly - I missed throwing that shuttle! I rummaged in the stash and came up with a warp that I received in a guild exchange last year.  It was supposed to be for 2 short towels, but I'd rather have regular sized towels, so I'm weaving 3 napkins instead. The structure is a simple twill, and is weaving up fast.

    1. Thanks, Leigh! I'm filling up the cloth napkin drawer with handwovens, and it's always fun to open that drawer and see all the COLOR. :)

  3. I have been a 'lurker' on your blog ever since I saw your photo and read your postings on Ravelry and thought "Oh, I wish I knew her". You were both in my thoughts and prayers during the entire storm. I knew you'd check in when you could, but it was hard to wait till you were able. Thanks for letting us all know you are okay...You have touched a lot of spinning hearts along the way, and even those who don't know you were worried.
    Happy Spinning,

    1. Ann, how sweet! Thank you for sharing that with me. Ravelry has helped us connect with like-minded fiber-friends all over the world, hasn't it? Alas, Blogger doesn't let me respond to you via email and I don't know who you are (since I know a lot of Anns) - send me a PM on Ravelry so I can "friend" you!
