A Ravelry friend commissioned a set of towels to match her kitchen - she wants cobalt blue, with accents of brown and natural. I'm weaving hers with vertical AND horizontal stripes, and I'll do a few extra with only vertical stripes. I really love this color combo!

Mermaid In Progress
The colorway of the silk I spun for this scarf is called "Mermaid Tail", and I can see why! I love the blues and subtle greens in this one. I'm using tencel for the weft, in a color called "Greyed Teal" - it really gives a watery feel to the scarf.
I'm glad I had enough silk to warp for two scarves, because I'm nearly finished weaving the first one, and I'm having too much fun to stop now!

Handwoven SAORI Blue
I have so much catching up to do - the fall sweater's body is done and I'm knitting the sleeves, I've finished the tencel twill scarves and the shadow weave scarf, and I've spun several skeins of yarn - but the only thing I've got photographed right now is the SAORI Blue shawl/wrap/scarf:
I used mixed cottons, bamboo, rayon, and fun novelty yarns in both the warp and weft. I love weaving Saori - it's "no rules, just fun!"
